Not Guilty – Armed Robbery – Commonwealth v. K.N.
K.N. was accused of a robbery with what looked like a gun near his home.
When police arrived, the complaining witness pointed K.N. out to the police officers who came to help her. Other police in the area had been responding to people yelling at K.N.’s home and found a bb gun on his stoop.
During a multi-day jury trial, Ms. Snyder was able to convince the jury that the witness was wrong on so many details of the robbery that she could easily have been wrong about who had done it. K.N. is abnormally tall and she didn’t even mention that to police.
Ms. Snyder also presented a well-investigated alibi. However, in speaking to the jury after the not guilty verdict, they said she had already won.
